Newhaven Neighbourhood Panels

Newhaven has mainly been concentrating on reducing anti-social behaviour and also on speeding and anti-social driving. Through the Neighbourhood Panels a number of good ideas have come forward to try and combat anti-social behaviour, and we are also able to see where we need to target patrols as we are getting the information directly from the panel members who are being affected.

As for the speeding, we now have a Lewes District portable Speed Camera which will be used in your local area to combat repeat offenders. If you see anyone driving in an anti-social manner please report it to www.operationcrackdown.org. This can include people using mobile phones while driving, not wearing their seatbelt or even if you have spotted an abandoned vehicle.
